Agreement and contracting parties
These Terms govern access to Index Instrument, including free scans, paid reports, monitoring plans, agent audits, remediation tools, and related software features. “Index Instrument,” “we,” and “us” mean Index Instrument, the operator of useagentindex.com and the software service identified on the applicable order confirmation. Paddle.com Market Limited or another Paddle affiliate may act as merchant of record for purchases processed through Paddle. The applicable contracting and merchant-of-record details are displayed before payment and on the receipt or invoice.
By creating an account, starting paid work, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you act for a company, you represent that you can bind it.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for your identity-provider account, workspace access, and all activity performed through your account. Notify support promptly if access is compromised.
The service
Index Instrument analyzes publicly reachable websites and returns technical observations, evidence, scores, and recommendations. Scores are diagnostic estimates based on the site state and protocols available at scan time. They are not promises of ranking, traffic, revenue, indexing, citation, or acceptance by any search engine or AI provider.
Third-party crawlers, models, protocols, APIs, ranking systems, and websites change without notice. We may update checks, scoring weights, supported protocols, and report presentation to preserve technical usefulness.
Authority to scan and customer content
You may scan only targets you own, administer, or are authorized to assess. You grant us a limited right to fetch, process, store, and display target content and technical responses solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
- +Do not submit private-network targets, credentials, secrets, personal files, or unlawfully obtained data.
- +Do not use the service to bypass access controls, overload systems, or perform security exploitation.
- +You retain ownership of your content. We retain ownership of the scanner, scoring methods, interface, report format, and platform software.
Orders, pricing, and Paddle
Prices, billing cadence, included usage, and taxes are shown before purchase. Paddle is the merchant of record for Paddle-processed orders and handles payment collection, applicable indirect taxes, receipts, and payment-method processing under Paddle’s buyer terms.
A one-time report is a digital service prepared for the URL tied to the order. By accepting immediate delivery, you ask us to begin processing before any otherwise applicable cooling-off period expires and acknowledge the refund limitations described in the Refund Policy, without waiving non-waivable rights.
Subscriptions and cancellation
A recurring plan renews automatically at the displayed interval until canceled. Before purchase, checkout will disclose the amount, frequency, renewal nature, and cancellation method. You may cancel future renewal through the account billing controls or Paddle’s customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally create a prorated refund for the current period.
We will provide any renewal reminder, price-change notice, or cancellation mechanism required by applicable law. Material price changes apply prospectively after required notice.
Suspension and termination
We may limit or suspend access for nonpayment, security risk, abuse, unlawful activity, material breach, or conduct that threatens the service or other customers. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections concerning payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and records survive termination.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or a particular commercial outcome. Nothing excludes warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law.
Disputes and contact
Before filing a payment dispute or chargeback, contact [email protected] with the order email, transaction reference, URL, and issue. This gives us a reasonable opportunity to investigate duplicate, unauthorized, defective, or undelivered orders. Paddle may separately administer payment disputes under its buyer terms.
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the Index Instrument contracting entity identified on your order, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections continue to apply. Courts with lawful jurisdiction over that entity and transaction may hear disputes unless the parties agree otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms for legal, security, or service changes. The effective date appears above. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be communicated where required and apply prospectively.
